Gaurav Gaur, also known as GG, is the Founder of Uncap Research Labs, where he focuses on conversation intelligence and patterns to build experiences. He is a naturally curious individual who is interested in people, their motivations, and how they make decisions. GG is a geek at heart and is always looking to try new things. He is passionate about working with people for whom creativity is not just a behavior but a way to lead and live. GG has expertise in building and leading talent functions, including HR-Tech Program Management, Human Capital Analytics, Employer Branding, Change Management leveraging Technology and HR Best Practices, Talent Management, and Evolving intelligent sourcing through Social Media and other unconventional channels. He is also a product thinker who understands the impact of interaction design on consumers for channels like Online:Offline. GG has worked as India Staffing Leader (eCP Hotwire) and Lead Talent Partner (eCP) at Expedia, where he built and delivered a framework to strengthen the brands of eCP, HomeAway, and Hotwire, which directly impacted customer experience and top-line growth. His role at Expedia involved business partnering with VP's and above, building and leading an inquisitive team of talent scouts, hiring game-changing engineering leaders, and creating practices and ways of working for compliance and delivery. GG has a Post Graduate Program in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from the Institute of Technology and Management. He also has experience as a designer, research scientist, and senior software engineer. GG is currently focused on experimenting with conversational data of candidates with recruiters to build an experience zone for talent scouting for role change and businesses searching for talent. He sees artificial intelligence playing a key role in addressing the challenges faced by candidates and recruiters, such as not hearing back from employers, reviewing bad traffic of applicants, and losing interest in applying for a role after a few clicks at the career page. GG's vision is to leverage social footprints rather than resumes to strengthen talent brands and bridge the gap between talent and businesses.
